Be still, and know that I am God.......................An ever-present help in trouble.

NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY CONCERNED ABOUT OR FRETTING OVER, THE PSALM BELOW  IS THE ANSWER.

HUMILITY WILL SOON OVERCOME ARROGANCE.

TRUST WILL OVERCOME CONTROL.

FAITH WILL OVERCOME REASON.

JESUS WILL OVERCOME SATAN.

THERE IS NO DOUBT ABOUT ANY OF THIS.

Psalm 46
1 God is our refuge and strength,

 an ever-present help in trouble.

2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,

3 though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.

4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.

5 God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.

6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall;
he lifts his voice, the earth melts.

 7 The LORD Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.

8 Come and see what the LORD has done,
the desolations he has brought on the earth.

9 He makes wars cease
to the ends of the earth.
He breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the shields with fire.

10 He says, "Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth."

 11 The LORD Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.

MASSIVE EVIDENCE AND STILL MOST PEOPLE REMAIN CLUELESS............

MASSIVE FLOODS.........

MASSIVE EARTHQUAKE ACTIVITY.............

MASSIVE INCREASE IN SOLAR ACTIVITY.........

MASSIVE INCREASE IN DEADLY TSUNAMIS...........

MASSIVE INCREASE IN TORNADIC ACTIVITY................

MASSIVE INCREASE IN VOLCANIC ACTIVITY................

MASSIVE NUMBER OF PEOPLE STARVING FROM HEAT AND DROUGHT...........

MASSIVE STUPIDITY AT IMPORTANT LEADERSHIP LEVELS WORLDWIDE..............

MASSIVE INCREASE IN ECONOMIC VOLATILITY AND FINANCIAL STABILITY...........

WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?

NO ONE KNOWS FOR SURE............

I WOULD SUGGEST THAT GOD IS SPEAKING TO A VERY ARROGANT AND UNCARING PEOPLE AND THAT HISTORY IS HEADED TOWARDS GODS FINAL REVELATION TO MANKIND.

REVELATION; GOD'S REVEALING OF HIMSELF, OF HIS POWER AND OF HIS SON'S TRUE GLORY TO ALL OF WAYWARD MANKIND.

ARE YOU READY?

This current generation is consumed with love of self and self alone is empty of anything of real value.

Pursue Love with all your heart and learn quickly that Godly love is a work of the Holy Ghost by the grace of Christ.

"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Charity never faileth…."

The church and all of mankind are desperate for a fresh godly experience.

Jesus said: "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 10:32). Paul said, "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" (Romans 10:9); and John said, "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God" (1 John 4:15).

Despite the great blessings awaiting all who make a courageous and good confession of saving faith in Christ, most people will refuse until it is too late. There is a time coming, however, when "every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:11).

"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth." (Philippians 2:9-10)

"And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven." (Mark 14:62)

"I am the way, the truth, and the life, I am the light of the world," and then, "I am from above: . . . I am not of this world. . . . I AM THAT I AMIf ye believe not that I am, ye shall die in your sins"

Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

The King of kings, and Lord of lords; JESUS!

IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD TO DO?..................FEAR NOT!

"Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee" (Jeremiah 32:17).

Sarah "laughed" when God said that she would bear a son in her old age, but God responded: "Is any thing too hard for the LORD?" (Genesis 18:14). Many years later, the angel told the Virgin Mary that she would have a son, and she said: "How shall this be?" (Luke 1:34.) The angel replied: "With God nothing shall be impossible" (Luke 1:37).

Some things God cannot do, of course, for "God cannot be tempted with evil" (James 1:13) and He "cannot lie" (Titus 1:2), so whatever He does is right and whatever He says is true. We may not always understand just why He does or says something, but in eternity we shall learn that He was indeed able to do what He says. He is omnipotent!

God did create the cosmos in all its macroscopic complexity and all the living kinds with their microscopic complexity.

"I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?" (Jeremiah 32:27).

WHEN YOU ARE AFRAID, DISCOURAGED, ALONE, FORGOTTEN, UNDER ATTACK, WEAK, SICK, OR IN ANY OTHER WAY CONCERNED ABOUT THIS LIFE; REMEMBER WHO GOD IS AND HOW MUCH HE LOVES YOU, REMEMBER THAT HE SEES YOU AND KNOWS YOU INSIDE AND OUT AND WANTS WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU!

IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR GOD?

SOMETIMES WE DON'T WANT THE TRUTH................

THIS WAS SENT TO ME BY A FRIEND;

In church today our minister told the following story -a guy fell down a steep cliff but was able to stop his fall by clinging to a root. However, he was still in grave danger, because he couldn't pull himself up, he couldn't climb down and he couldn't stay where he was much longer. The root was becoming dislodged from the ground due to his weight and he was perilously close to falling to his death.

The man cried out in desperation, help, help, can anyone help me? A voice replied, "Do not be afraid. I am with you always."

The man gasped in relief "Oh thank you, thank you, tell me what I should do".

"Do you trust me?" the voice said.

"Yes God, I trust you", replied the terrified man, what must I do?

"Trust in me then, replied the voice, and let go. I will be with you, all will be well, do not be afraid".

The man looked down to the ground below him, he thought for a moment and then shouted, "is there anyone else up there who can help me?"

The sad truth is that most don't realize that even if they let go of the root, the root won't let go of them. Because the root was placed there by the love of God, and even when we let go, we are never out of his hand, his tender loving.

There is a time coming, however, when "every tongue |will| confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:11).

IF YOUR INTERESTED IN EARTHQUAKE ACTIVITY..........................

BE PREPARED for a large quake in the Caribbean near Puerto Rico, in the near term... next few weeks to a month.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgIZrzDewf8&feature=player_embedded

MORE ON EARTHQUAKES;

The quake in Japan that caused the Fukushima disaster caused a rift 15 miles below the sea floor that stretched 186 miles long and 93 miles wide moving the areas closest to the epicenter of the quake a full 13 feet closer to the United States, geophysicist Ross Stein at the United States Geological Survey said. As climate catastrophes, harvest failures, droughts, dust and fire storms rage on the surface of the planet under our feet we face an increasing unstable earth.

2011 is on target to record the largest number of earthquakes in a single year for at least 12 years. Using data from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), has found that earthquake activity (5.0-9.9 magnitude) from 01 January to 19 June 2011 is already exceeding the total annual seismic activity for the years 2001, 2002 and 2003. 2011's total number of recorded earthquakes is also expected to exceed the most seismically active year of the past 12 years, the year 2007.

A total of 1,445 earthquakes, ranging in magnitude from 5.0 to 9.9, have been recorded in the year up to 19 June. The total number of earthquakes recorded globally for the entire of 2007 was 2,270.

The number of earthquakes ranging from 5.0 magnitude to 7.9 magnitude is rising. In particular there has been a sharp rise during the past 12 years of moderate earthquakes in the range of 5.0 to 6.9.

HOW ABOUT VOLCANIC ACTIVITY?

July 15, 2011 - ICELAND- An eruption has occurred at another volcano in Iceland. The glacial burst occurred from Koldukvislarjokull, a part of Vatnajokull in southeast Iceland. The flood flowed down the Svedja river into Hagongulon lagoon and Lake Thorisvatn. A flood has never been recorded at this part of the glacier before.

July 14, 2011 - LONDON- Teacups rattled at breakfast-time this morning as an earthquake struck the English Channel. "It felt as if a big lorry had gone by in a hurry, except we don't have lorries go through here." The quake's epicenter was around 53 miles (85 km) southeast of Portsmouth, Hampshire, at a depth of 10 km, the BGS said. "This is the largest earthquake within 25 km (16 miles) since a magnitude 4.5 event in the year 1734."

July 14, 2011 - JAKARTA- An Indonesian volcano erupted late Thursday, spewing rocks, lava and ash hundreds of meters into the air, an official said, three days after its alert status was raised to the highest level. People live within the evacuation zone. "There was a big eruption around 10:31pm local time (1531 GMT Thursday), which saw ash, sand and rocks thrown 1,500 metres (4,800 feet) into the air," government volcanologist Kristianto told AFP.

July 14, 2011 - VANUATU- Vanuatu's Ambae volcano has begun spewing volcanic gases, and residents could be forced to evacuate part of the island. Volcanologist Sylvain Todman, from the Vanuatu Geohazards Observatory, told Pacific Beat they were watching the situation very closely. "At the moment we have sporadic explosions but the explosions are getting bigger and bigger every time," he said.

July 11, 2011 - INDONESIA- Around 28,000 people live within the evacuation zone but only "hundreds" will be moved today. The Indonesian archipelago has dozens of active volcanoes and straddles major tectonic fault lines known as the Ring of Fire between the Pacific and Indian oceans.

July 11, 2011 - CHILE- Clouds of ash spewing from Chile's Puyehue volcano have grounded flights at airports again. The Puyehue has been causing air travel mayhem since it rumbled back to life on June 4 for the first time in five decades, belching into the air a huge volume of dust and ash. Flights across South America- including hubs in Montevideo, Chile's capital city Santiago and southern Brazil - have been hard hit as ash clouds swept around the southern hemisphere to linger over Australia and New Zealand.

July 9, 2011 - SICILY- A southern Italian airport was on Saturday closed due to ash from Mount Etna, forcing traffic to be diverted to Palermo, theANSAnews agency said. Catania airport on the east coast of the island of Sicily. The last eruption was in May. A massive flood of meltwater from Iceland's Myrdalsjoekull glacier, meanwhile, has raised fears of an eruption from the powerful Katla volcano there.

THAT'S JUST FIVE DAYS!  THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF ERUPTIONS IN A SHORT PERIOD IN ALL OF HISTORY.

FINALLY

There are new videos from both north and south poles further strengthening the case for a large shift in the angle of the earth relative to the sun and stars. It seems like there is no doubt that our planet has shifted its tilt and this in part is having a dramatic effect on our weather.

The stage is being set for a massive heat wave to continue into next week as a large area of high pressure is anticipated to circulate hot and humid air over much of the central and eastern U.S.," the National Weather Service warned.

In the thick of the heat wave is Oklahoma where Gov. Mary Fallin asked Oklahomans to pray for rain this Sunday. It seems that the tilt of the earth has changed bringing more sun not only the top of the world but also to the northern latitudes who are also seeing dramatic weather pattern shifts.

I agree with the governor, there's never been a better time than now to pray.

I'M NOT SURE WHAT TO MAKE OF ALL OF THIS BUT I DO BELIEVE THAT GOD IS SEEKING THE ATTENTION OF A VERY SELFISH AND DISTRACTED WORLD.

Even after you see it, it is still hard to believe!
Water Bridge in Germany. What a feat!
Six years, 500 million Euros, 918 meters long . . . now this is engineering!

This is a channel-bridge over the River Elbe and joins the former East and West Germany ,
As part of the unification project. It is located in the city of Magdeburg , near Berlin .
The photo was taken on the day of inauguration . . .

To those who appreciate engineering projects, here's a puzzle for your armchair engineers
. . . and physicists.

Question:

Did that bridge have to be designed to withstand the additional weight of ship and barge traffic,
Or just the weight of the water?

Answer:

It only needs to be designed to withstand the weight of the water!

Why?
A ship always displaces an amount of water that weighs the same as the ship, regardless of how heavily a ship may be loaded.

The Incredible Magdeburg Water Bridge in Germany

The Magdeburg Water Bridge is a navigable aqueduct in Germany that connects the Elbe-Havel Canal to the Mittelland Canal, and allows ships to cross over the Elbe River. At 918 meters, it is the longest navigable aqueduct in the world.
The Elbe-Havel and Mittelland canals had previously met near Magdeburg but on opposite sides of the Elbe. Ships moving between the two had to make a 12-kilometer detour, descending from the Mittelland Canal through the Rothensee boat lift into the Elbe, then sailing downstream on the river, before entering the Elbe-Havel Canal through Niegripp lock. Low water levels in the Elbe often prevented fully laden canal barges from making this crossing, requiring time-consuming off-loading of cargo.

Construction of the water link was started as early as in the 1930s but due to the World War 2 and subsequent division of Germany the work remained suspended till 1997. The aqueduct was finally completed and opened to the public in 2003.

THE ATHEIST AND THE LITTLE GIRL..................SO TRUE FOR SO MANY IN OUR SOCIETY!

An atheist was seated next to a little girl on an airplane and he turned to her and said, "Do you want to talk?

Flights go much quicker if you strike up a conversation with a fellow passenger.

"The little girl, who had just started to read her book, replied to the total stranger, "What would you want to talk about?"

"Oh, I don't know," said the atheist. "How about why there is no God?" as he smiled smugly.

"Ok," she said. "That could be an interesting topic, but first let me ask you a question.

A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff - grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, and a horse produces clumps. Why do you suppose that is?"

The atheist, visibly surprised by the little girl's intelligence, thinks about it and says, "Hmmm, I have no idea.

"To which the little girl replies, "Do you really feel qualified to discuss God when you don't even know anything about crap?"

(A NICE WAY OF SAYING YOU DON'T KNOW S_ _ T!)

And then she went back to reading her book.

A VERY DARK MARKET OMEN................

Shit Just Got Real: Primary Dealers Called To New York Fed For Emergency Noon Meeting

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 07/29/2011 09:44

From an email just sent out by Morgan Stanley's David Greenlaw:

The NY Fed just asked primary dealers to come downtown today at noon to meet with Fed and Treasury Dept officials. We expect to hear them outline a contingency plan for next week. Details to follow.

More from Bloomberg which confirms this is not a previously scheduled meeting:

  • The Treasury has canceled its regularly scheduled individual meetings with bond dealers in favor of the group meeting, according to the people, who declined to be identified because the meeting hasn't been publicly announced.
  • All 20 primary dealers were invited.
  • Treasury spokesmen in Washington didn't immediately reply to a request for comment on what will be discussed at the meeting.
ARE WE AT ANOTHER TARP / FLASH CRASH / CRISIS MOMENT?

SOME RECOVERY!

A BIG PROBLEM IS SPREADING................. EUROPEAN CONTAGION SPREADS TO UNEXPECTED

Contagion Spreads To Sleepy Denmark, As CDS Surges By

20% Overnight

When one thinks of Europe's default contagion, one traditionally thinks of the Club Ded countries along the Mediterranean. It may be time to change that after Denmark's CDS has surged by nearly 20% overnight, from 74 to 88, and by over a third since June 7, making it the worst performing government in the past month. The reason for this is that the country, which unlike other European nations, has allowed its insolvent banks to actually fail without masking their poor state. This in turn prompted S&P to come out with a report yesterday that as many as 15 more banks could default.

In its report, S&P said that "In our base-case assumption, we estimate the gross loss due to additional bank failures to be Danish krona (DKK) 6 billion-DKK12 billion over a given three-year period. If the losses are larger than we expect, we would have to reassess our ratings on individual Danish banks, based on the impact of the fallout on each. Eleven banks have failed in Denmark since 2008. Although the banks were small by international standards, it is nevertheless an unusually high number for a developed market where bank defaults are generally rare events and extraordinary government support mostly averts losses to senior creditors.

While the Danish regulatory authorities accept the concept of systemically important institutions, they have so far given no formal indication of which institutions fall under this definition. In our opinion, the banks we rate would be considered systemically important and therefore may receive extraordinary government support, beyond that defined in the country's established bank resolution scheme." So according to the rating agency any country that dares to avoid the Paulson-Summers TBTF doctrine is in prompt need of annihilation if we read this right. Either way, this latest black swan means that the crisis is creeping ever closer to Germany, which now has to fund two insolvency fronts: a southern and a north one. And when S&P finally puts France on downgrade review, the time to panic will have come and gone.

More soothing words out of S&P:

Government Support Averts Collapse Of The Danish Banking Market

Prices rose substantially in the commercial real estate and agriculture sectors prior to the outbreak of the recent global financial crisis. The crisis sharply raised banks' funding costs, particularly for small local and regional banks that had been financing the 2005-2007 property boom. As a consequence of this sharp increase in funding costs in 2007, Danish property prices began to fall and as the international financial crisis deepened in 2008, international funding markets closed for small local and regional banks in Denmark.

The government subsequently avoided a collapse of the Danish banking market through its support of both funding and capital. At year-end 2010, 50 financial institutions in Denmark had DKK193 billion in government-guaranteed debt outstanding. Currently property prices are not in freefall (see charts 1 and 2), but there are nevertheless lingering asset quality problems among the smaller Danish banks that are substantial enough to threaten the survival of several.

In addition, a limited number of banks have become highly dependent on government-guaranteed funding and may face refinancing problems as existing government-guaranteed debt matures in 2012-2013. In our view, while asset quality problems remain the primary likely cause of further bank failures, refinancing risk could also be a contributory factor.

Attitude is Everything...................... A GREAT VIDEO CLIP TOO!

Attitude is Everything

I used to worry. A lot. The more I fretted, the more proficient I became at it. Anxiety begets anxiety. I even worried that I worried too much! Ulcers might develop. My health could fail. My finances could deplete to pay the hospital bills.

A comedian once said, "I tried to drown my worries with gin, but my worries are equipped with flotation devices." While not a drinker, I certainly could identify! My worries could swim, jump and pole vault!

To get some perspective, I visited a well known, Dallas businessman, Fred Smith. Fred mentored such luminaries as motivational whiz Zig Ziglar, business guru Ken Blanchard and leadership expert John Maxwell. Fred listened as I poured out my concerns and then said,

"Vicki, you need to learn to wait to worry."As the words sank in, I asked Fred if he ever spent time fretting. (I was quite certain he wouldn't admit it if he did. He was pretty full of testosterone-even at age 90.) To my surprise, he confessed that in years gone by he had been a top-notch worrier!

"I decided that I would wait to worry!" he explained. "

I decided that I'd wait until I actually had a reason to worry-something that was happening, not just something that might happen-before I worried."When I'm tempted to get alarmed," he confided, "I tell myself, 'Fred, you've got to wait to worry! Until you know differently, don't worry.' And I don't. Waiting to worry helps me develop the habit of not worrying and that helps me not be tempted to worry."

Fred possessed a quick mind and a gift for gab. As such, he became a captivating public speaker. "I frequently ask audiences what they were worried about this time last year. I get a lot of laughs," he said, "because most people can't remember. Then I ask if they have a current worry - you see nods from everybody. Then I remind them that the average worrier is 92% inefficient - only 8% of what we worry about ever comes true."

Charles Spurgeon said it best. "Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow, but only empties today of its strength."

Though it's not easy, it's important to stay positive in negative situations. Beat the negative situations by staying positive.

Here are 15 tips on how to do it; pick the ones that work for you:

  1. Never respond when you are not calm. If you are not sure that you are calm, don't respond. Take time to calm yourself down first.
  2. Take a deep breath as a first step to calm yourself down.
  3. Speak in gentle tone to reduce the tension of the situation.
  4. Realize that you can find opportunities in negative situations. Albert Einstein said: "In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity."

5 Rules to Help You Stay Positive

The way to beat a negative situation is to maintain a positive attitude. It is not easy and requires discipline on your part, but you can do it. At first you may not succeed every time so consider it a training program. Eventually you will learn to control your reactions out of habit.

Rule # 1 – Control Your Response

The golden rule of staying positive in a negative situation is to control your response. Take a deep breath, count to 10, do whatever it takes to remove yourself from the negativity. Wait until you calm down and have thought clearly about your response.

If you respond out of emotion you will only make things worse. Remember Thumper's rule. "If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all." This is good advice when you find yourself in a negative situation.

Negative situations are compounded when they cause you stress. Learn how to deal with stress to eliminate the extra negativity.

Rule # 2 – Learn From Negative Situations

Look at a negative situation or event as an opportunity to learn and grow personally. Albert Einstein said "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." Don't channel your energy into a negative reaction, but into something positive that will make the situation better, not worse.

If you do react in a negatively, note it and the circumstances that caused it. Learn from it by identifying the triggers that caused your reaction so you can watch for them in the future. Train yourself so you control the situation instead of allowing the situation to control your actions.

Rule # 3 – If You Make a Mistake, Admit it

We are human so we all make mistakes from time to time. When you do you need to step up and admit it. One thing I told my boss a long time ago was that if I ever made a mistake he would hear it from me first. If you make a mistake that leads to a negative situation, admit to it, learn from it and move on.

Rule # 4 – Maintain a Positive View

Don't allow your opinion of someone to become jaded by a negative situation. Keep a positive view about a person or a situation and don't jump to conclusions. Be proactive in dealing with adverse circumstances, not reactive. If the negativity is true see rule # 3. If not then affirm what you already know about yourself and your work.

When you are working under pressure it is hard to keep a positive attitude, but for a manager often pressure is part of the job. Learning how to work under pressure will help you overcome a source of negative situations.

Rule # 5 – Accentuate The Positive.

Remember that scene in The Jungle Book where Baloo breaks into a song about staying positive?

You've got to accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
And latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with Mister In-Between

Words of wisdom from a dancing bear.

  • Emphasize your positive attitude by your actions and in your words.
  • Eliminate any negative thoughts generated from a negative situation. Nothing good is gained from a negative reaction.
  • Affirm the positive truths you know to be true about yourself and your work.
  • Don't flip-flop between positive and negative. When negativity comes to you remove yourself from the situation, flip to the positive side and stay there.
