CHRISTIAN HISTORY IN SEVEN JEWISH FEASTS.......

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

                                        2 Timothy 2:15

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

                                                                                                                       Romans 12:2

God will use His creation to signal to His people the signs of His coming and the end of the age.

"He [Jesus] answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?"

                                                                                                                                          Matthew 16:2-3

There are 7 feasts of the Lord;
they were not invented by the Jewish people, they belong to God. The 4 spring feasts have already been fulfilled. The fall feasts will be fulfilled by the Rapture and the Second Coming.

Most Christians are not familiar with the Hebraic concepts of the Bible, especially the seven appointed feasts and the yearly cycles ordained by God. Few Christians have heard about the new moon cycles and how Israel's calendar and prophetic future were hidden in the lunar cycles. Understanding the new moon unlocks deeper revelation of the seven main feasts.

Every one of the Feasts of The LORD are prophetic pictures.

The spring feasts are a picture of the Messiah who would come, who did come,Who IS Come, as the suffering servant, The Lamb of God, prophesied by Abraham, who pays the atoning sin sacrifice, for the sins of mankind. The gospels clearly show Yeshua's fulfillment of the spring feasts.

The fall feasts, are about His return as the Lion of Judah, the King of Kings, who will tread out the wine press of the fierceness of the wrath of God Almighty.

THE FIRST OF THE FALL FEASTS IS THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS. OUR JEWISH FRIENDS CALL IT ROSH HASHANAH WHICH MEANS 'HEAD OF THE YEAR'. BUT ITS HIDDEN MORE BIBLICAL NAME IS YOM TERUAH. SADLY VERY FEW, WHETHER THEY BE JEWISH, MESSIANIC, OR CHRISTIAN, ARE STUDYING THE HEBREW WORD TERUAH TO DISCOVER JUST WHAT IT REALLY MEANS.

In the autumn of the year and on the first day of the Tishrei moon trumpets are blown to announce the Hebrew holiday of Yom Teruah. Biblical Christians refer to it as the Feast of Trumpets. Our Jewish friends refer to it as Rosh Hashanah, "head of the Year". It is the 5th of the Seven Feasts of Israel.

THE SPRING FEASTS

THE SPRING FEASTS SHOWCASE THE PRIESTLY MESSIAH.

The spring feasts in their New Covenant fulfilment revealed the Messiah in His priestly role. We saw Him as the Sacrificial Lamb and the Suffering Servant. Jesus fulfilled all three of these springtime feasts. He fulfilled them precisely on the holy days appointed. His sacrifial death came right on Passover. He was buried and in the grave just in time for the Feast of Unleavened Bread. And His Resurrection from the dead came three days later right on the Feast of Firstfruits. The spring feasts were fulfilled precisely on time, shouldn't we expect God to do the same with the fall feasts?

1. THE PASSOVER     FULFILLED BY HIS DEATH

2. THE FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD   FULFILLED BY HIS BURIAL

3. THE FEAST OF FIRSTFRUITS   FULFILLED BY HIS RESURRECTION

THE SUMMER FEAST

THE FEAST OF PENTECOST   FULFILLED BY THE OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

The summer of that same year saw the fourth feast fulfilled as well. In the summer of that year the birthday of Israel, the Feast of Pentecost, also became the birthday of the Church. Fifty days after Firstfruits the Feast of Pentecost had "fully come". The Holy Spirit fell on the 120 in the upper room. It was the 7th of Sivan. This was the very same Hebrew calendar day God brought down the law from Mount Sinai. And also at Mount Sinai Israel corporately betrothed themselves to God as a nation. After 40 years of wandering in the wilderness they crossed the Jordan with Joshua. And with the sign of circumcision the Nation of Israel entered the promised land of Canaan. This was the Old Covenant between God and the nation of Israel, a covenant which they broke. The Old Covenant was never "done away with"as we have been told. Because all through the prophecies of the Old Testament we see the promise ofIsrael's national restoration. We see all 12 tribes represented in the New Jerusalem, the Holy City, the Bride of the Lamb.

So the four of the Seven Feasts of Israel above have already been fulfilled in the New Covenant. 2,000 Biblical years, the church age, have passed by and here we stand awaiting those final awesome events.

The autumn season of harvest brings in the 5th, 6th, and 7th feasts. These are the Fall Feasts of Israel. And the Feast of Trumpets is the very next feast due to unfold.

THE FALL FEASTS

THE FALL FEASTS USHER IN THE KINGDOM MESSIAH.

The fall feasts will be different. Messiah will be dealing with His covenant people in His political or Kingdom role. This will be a global rule. Because the coming Messiah is not just returning to His national people Israel. At the Second Coming He will be returning to take up a worldwide rulership as King of kings and Lord of lords. So the fall feasts are of a political nature. They celebrate God's righteous rule upon this earth as the real and literal Messiah.

THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS  WILL BE FULFILLED BY THE RAPTURE OF THE SAINTS

Mon. 14 September 2015     Rosh HaShanah - Feast of Trumpets

THE DAY OF ATONEMENT  WILL BE FULFILLED BY THE SECOND COMING

Wed. 23 September 2015    Yom Kippur - Day of Atonement

THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES  WILL BE FULFILLED BY START OF THE MILLENNIAL REIGN

Mon. 28 September 2015     Sukkot - Feast of Tabernacles

The 10 Days of Awe are about REPENTANCE, and begin with the Feast of Trumpets, the evening of Sept 14, 2015 and climax with the ONLY biblically REQUIRED fast day, Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, September 23, 2015.

The Jubilee is a God ordained "Sabbath" that occurs once every 49 years. The theme of this special Sabbath was "liberation" for God's people and their land. Like the seven day week, the Jubilee is also a "shadow" of things to come. It is believed that the Messiah will return in a Jubilee year to grant "liberty" to mankind. The original jubilee cycle has been lost to antiquity, but some rabbinical sources point to 1966-1967 as being the most recent jubilee year since that is when the 6 Day War happened and Jerusalem was reclaimed by Israel as its capital city once again. If it is true then 2015-2016 will be the next Jubilee. 2015-2016 would be September 2015 to the fall of 2016, not January to January. This Jewish New Year for 2015 begins on September 14-16 on the feast of trumpets.

"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken"

                                                                                                                                             Luke 21:25-26

"And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come"

                         Joel 2:30-31

Interestingly enough four very rare blood moon tetrads occurring over Jerusalem will occur during the later part of the Sabbatical cycle that we are currently in. These blood moon tetrads are so very rare and also occurring over Jerusalem makes it even the more rare and very Biblically prophetic. Also note these blood moon tetrads also occur on Jewish feast days, found in Leviticus 23. These particular very rare blood moon tetrads will occur only over Jerusalem on Passover, April 15, 2014, on the Feast of Tabernacles, October 8, 2014, on Passover, April 4, 2015 and on The Feast of Tabernacles, September 28, 2015. The rabbis teach that blood moons, "lunar eclipses" over Jerusalem are a sign used by God for the judgment of the nation of Israel. The rabbis also teach that solar eclipses over Jerusalem are sign for the judgments of the nations of the world. How much more a coincidence is it that in the midst of all of this there is also an eclipse of the feast of trumpets 2015?

Nearly 2,000 years ago Messiah came to fulfill His first role and mission as Israel's promised Sacrificial Lamb. So four of the Seven Feasts of Israel have been fulfilled in the New Covenant. 2,000 years have passed by, and here we stand awaiting those final awesome events.

Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world."

                               John 18:36
