Our Entire Economy Depends On This Graphic..........

Our Entire Economy Depends On This Graphic

The "smartest central planners in the room" are nothing more than hostages to the "market" they created, a "market" which without explicit Fed support will tumble. In other words, the higher the market rises, the more likely the Fed will proceed with the rate hike which slams it right back down. And vice versa. It is no wonder air conditioners in the data centers housing the US algos farms and dark pools are overheating - not even the HFTs can make much sense of this particular circular logic.

Under The Surface, Things Are Notably 'Broken'.........History teaches us this isn’t over. It’s only just begun!

Under The Surface, Things Are Notably 'Broken'

With corporate profits falling, margin debt at all-time highs, the Fed preparing to raise rates, China's fake economic system imploding, currency wars breaking out across the globe, emerging markets in turmoil, oil dependent countries in the Middle East seeing budgets go deeply in the red, Greece and the other insolvent southern European countries nearing collapse and tensions rising between Russia, Europe and the U.S., there is plenty to fear in this central banker created debt bubble world.

History teaches us this isn't over. It's only just begun!

The bubblevision assertions that the worst is behind us is false. They will insist all is well until you've lost half your net worth. When fear overtakes greed, neither monetary easing, propaganda, nor acts of desperation by politicians, government bureaucrats, or central bankers will turn the tide.

While we have all seen how equity markets had decoupled from the 'reality' occurring in commodities, FX, and credit markets (as well as macro fundamentals), trading desks are anxiously eying the following 'decoupling' as this week's "pair trade."

VIX Inverse ETF signals all is not well..........Under the surface, things are notably 'broken'.

Are We the Generation That Will See the End Times

This Generation - So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, knowthat my coming is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

            Mat. 24 v.33-34

Christ seems to be giving criteria by which His coming could possibly be dated, at least approximately. There is a generation that will not pass away until everything He has prophesied for the last days has been fulfilled. We know that all must be fulfilled also at the end of Daniel's 70th week, so this should help us to discover when that will occur.

Obviously what Christ has to say here is of great importance in our attempt to discern how close we are to His return. There are, as always, some problems. To whom is Christ speaking, to Israel or to the Church? Is He referring to the Rapture or to the Second Coming? Who or what does He mean by "this generation?" Furthermore, the above statement seems, at least upon its face, to contradict verses 42 and 44: "For ye know not what hour your Lord doth come, For in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of man cometh."

A time was coming when all the signs of which He spoke would have been fulfilled before the eyes of a particular generation. On that basis they would realize that Christ's coming was right at the door. Yet at the same time He declares that no one will know when He will return. In fact, even those who are watching for Him are likely not to think that He is coming when He really is. Of course we know that both of these seemingly contradictory statements from our Lord are true and that there is no contradiction.

We have already pointed out that there is only one rational and Scriptural way to reconcile these two statements. Christ can only be referring to two different events: The Rapture and the Second Coming. There are no signs for the Rapture, which will take almost everyone by surprise.

The signs are all for the Second Coming, which is why those who heed His Word would know exactly when He is right at the door about to enter the world scene once again. This time He comes not as a lamb to be led to the slaughter, but in power and glory and to take vengeance upon the enemies of God.

This is the only generation for which most of the prophecies of Revelation apply. This is the only generation in history that has witnessed the coming together of the whole predicted scenario to precede the Messiah's Second Coming.

Here is a list of some of the fulfillment's of this predicted scenario:

The return of the Jews to the land of Israel and the formation of a state in spite of centuries of persecution wherever they fled. 1948

The Israeli recapture of old Jerusalem. 1967

The rise of Russia as a dangerous rogue military power with an awesome arsenal of lethal weapons inherited from the USSR.

The rise of Islamic nations as a major power with their relentless pursuit of Jerusalem and Israel's destruction.

The entrance of China as a world class power and the rise of Asia as the most populated and technically skilled area in the world.

The uniting of European nations into a single awesome power after centuries of fighting with each other.

The simultaneous increase in frequency and magnitude of war, earthquakes, plagues, famines, super storms, and global weather pattern changes.

The Return of the Days of Noah and Lot - Jesus prophesied that "as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed" (Luke 17 v.26-30)

Two of the most depraved periods in history were the days of Noah just prior to the Flood, and the days of Lot. In both cases the people were so sinful that God destroyed them from the face of the earth. In Noah's day it was the whole world that sinned; in Lot's day it was the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. It is instructive that our Lord Jesus chose to use the moral climate in which these ancient people lived as a warning about the lifestyles of men and women just before His return. We are clearly
living in the moral climate of the days of Noah and of Lot.

What Kind of Days Were They - Even a casual reading of Gen. 6 v.1-9 shows that the people of Noah's day were sexually obsessed. In this case the sons of God were cohabiting with the "daughters of men" and "producing giants - mighty men, men of renown" - renowned doubtless for their wickedness. The most important lesson we can learn from this passage is that their wicked lifestyle caused God to unleash the flood.

Their lifestyle included three specific sins.

Sexual perversion.

The thoughts of their hearts were evil continually.

Routine living with disregard to the consequences of impending judgment.

These people were "eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage." In other words, they ignored the preaching of Noah for 120 years and violated the known law of God as if there were no accounting to come.

Present world conditions could very well be as bad or worse than those that existed in the days before the Flood and in the days of Lot. The most common sins of our day are sexual, from fornication to adultery to homosexuality. That is evidenced worldwide by the 50 million or more abortions perpetrated annually and the rampant sexually transmitted diseases, for STD's to AIDS - all diseases that, for the most part, do not afflict those who follow the sexual laws of God. In the past generation, due to the increase in pornography via magazines, movies, TV and videos, there has been an acceleration of sexual promiscuity and an ever lowering of the age of first sexual activity.

The scourge of all sexual perversion is pedophilia and child molestation. Some have estimated that such sins against children have increased 300 to 500% since pornography was legalized by the Supreme Court in 1972.Pornography has caused the minds of both men and women to be obsessed with sex, or as the Bible predicted, "every imagination of the thoughts of his (man's) heart was only evil continually" (Gen. 6 v.5) Hollywood has polluted the most powerful communications vehicle the human mind ever invented, film, which has the ability to affect the mind, emotions, and will.

Homosexuality, the Sin of Lot's Day - The sexual sins of Sodom and Gomorrah in Lot's time were so gross that men were driven with a passion not only for their own sex but even became disrespectful to the angels who visited Lot. It is almost unbelievable in our day how those who reject the sexual laws of God have succeeded in making one of the basest of sexual sins, sodomy, respectable and even acceptable.

A few years ago Hollywood stars kept their personal sex lives in the closet.Today homosexuals are "out" and demanding their "rights". What rights do they demand? The right to marry, the right to cohabit with the same sex, the right to teach school, where they could influence young minds, the right to adopt children, the right to serve in the military - and the list goes on.

It's Later That its Ever Been

Christians living today are the last generation. Prophecy scholars agree that the generation that saw Israel restored to her land in 1948 is the "generation that will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened" (Mat. 24 v.32-34)

In other words, before this strategic generation passes from the scene, time, as we know it, will come to an end. When you examine the "signs of the times" that have been fulfilled in our lifetime, you have to believe the coming of Christ is very near. As Jesus said, "Near, even at the doors." Yes, we are indeed living in the end times!

Dr. John Walvoord, the most knowledgeable living prophecy scholar in the world today, (at the time of writing - he lived from May 1, 1910 to December 20, 2002) said the following at a prophecy conference about the times in which we live:

I have been studying prophecy for many years (over 50), I sense in the world today an unprecedented time of world crises that can be interpreted as being preparatory for the coming of the Lord. If there ever was a time when Christians should live every day as though Christ could come at any time, it is today.

Don't be like the majority, "ashamed before Him at His coming." We pray that you will "be ready" when He comes.

When Jesus was asked "When shall these things be?" He told them:

"Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near" (Mat. 24 v.32).  The "fig tree" refers to the restoration of Israel to her ancestral homeland. The fig tree is indeed a symbol for Israel today in much the same way the eagle symbolizes America or the bear is a symbol for Russia.

But, if that were the entire story, identification of the fig tree as Israel would be pretty subjective. The Bible does refer to a fig tree some 33 times - 18 times in the Old Testament alone. In context, the fig tree is always a symbol for Israel, such as Hosea's statement, "I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the earliest fruit on the fig tree in its first season." (Hosea 9 v.10)

It is in that context that the symbolism of a blossoming fig tree in early spring is used. Just as that is a sure sign the general time of summer has arrived, so, the argument goes, is the restoration of Israel to her land a sure sign the general time of Christ's return has arrived. With that in mind, the following
verse is stunning. "Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place." (Mat. 24 v.34)

This Generation Will Not Pass - Jesus Christ promised, "this generation will not pass."

It's important to recognize that the parable isn't just about Israel as the fig tree. Jesus said the leaves would symbolize:

Religious deception and occult practices.

Hot wars and Cold wars (wars and rumors of wars)

International revolution among nations

Ethnic conflicts

Global weather pattern changes

Record killer storms

Like the first leaves on the fig tree, they would all come at the same time. Like birth pangs, they would all increase in frequency and intensity. And, the generation that saw all these things would not pass from the world stage until all of the prophecies of the last days - including His return - had come to pass.

"When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." (Luke 21 v.28) Keep in mind the audience to whom Jesus was speaking. The redemption He promised "would draw near" was the national redemption of Israel.

He redeemed the Church (both Jew and Gentile who trusted in Him) at the Cross. That is an accomplished fact. Israel's national redemption in accordance with the Abrahamic covenant takes place at the Second Advent.

Could it be any Other Generation - Jesus' message was carefully addressed to one specific generation, somewhere in time, a generation to which His fig tree reference would make sense. That generation had to be able to identify the time in which it lived to the exclusion of all others. And Jesus defines a generation in a manner unique to Scripture. He says that the generation alive at the time of the rebirth of Israel, some of them
will still be around at the Second Advent.

If you were born
around in 1948, then, barring being hit by a bus, or run down by a runaway shopping cart, you can expect to be around to see all these things. All of them.

Understanding the times in which we live is not the exclusive domain of the theologian. Peter reminds us, "but know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter on one's own interpretation." (2 Peter 1 v.20) The fact is, evidences pointing to this generation as the Generation is all around us, interconnected with such precision that no thinking person could honestly cry "Coincidence."

A plan for human history, laid out in advance, with each detail recorded thousands of years in advance, can only come from God.

Those details of Bible prophecy must be fulfilled within one generation, and no other - or it is nothing more than "coincidence."

The signs given by Jesus for the last days have not been completely fulfilled. What we see happening all around us are the birth pang signs all increasing in frequency and intensity, in concert with each other. This demonstrates to some degree how close the ultimate fulfillment these birth pangs are in relation to our present age.

The fact is, the next firm event on the prophetic calendar is the Rapture of the Church.

All the other signs will not be completely fulfilled until after that takes place.

The unveiling of the Antichrist, the false prophet, the mark of the Beast, rebuilding the temple,
the signing of the 7 year covenant between Israel and her enemies - these cannot occur until after God removes His Church. However we are seeing the increasingly heavy shadows of what is to come.

We are pushing at the membrane of time that separates the Church Age from the beginning of Tribulation.

Unusual Signs Unknown to Previous Generations - Wars, pestilence, famine, earthquakes, etc., These are some of the signs which yearly are increasing at a rate unlike anything known to previous generations. Ours is the first generation for which these prophecies, seemingly impossible before, even make sense.

Let us look at some of these peculiar signs. Christ declared that the Great Tribulation would involve dangers to life unlike anything ever known. So horrendous, in fact, would the weapons be, that "except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved." That statement seemed outrageous for more than 1900 years.

There were no weapons capable of wiping out all life on this planet. None, that is until our generation came along. Not only the nuclear arsenals which are now common knowledge fall into that category, but other secret weapons equally deadly have been developed. A major deterrent to the use of these star wars weapons has been the fear that a disaster of cosmic proportions could be unleashed which would make any kind of life on this planet possible.

Don't be Shocked, Flee to the Only Hope - Something that should surprise no one, especially those familiar with bible prophecy, which explains just how badly conditions on earth will deteriorate in the days just before Jesus return.

"But realize this," Paul wrote in 2 Tim. 3 v.1-5, "that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; and avoid such men as these."

Maybe now Revelation is beginning to sound a little less allegorical and a little more real?

The world as we know it is rapidly
moving toward catastrophe.

Russia, a declining superpower with one of the world's largest nuclear stockpiles and teaming up with others.

China with the largest army in the world with nearly 3 million in active service with another 200 million plus militiamen.

Christians are already the most persecuted religious group in the world today.

Infectious diseases have increased, growing resistance to antibiotics is a serious threat.

Unpredictable and often deadly weather has the most serious climate researchers in the world wondering what's going on. Is it global warming? Is it ozone depletion? Is it something we don't understand?

Earthquakes continue to increase in frequency and intensity, just as the Bible predicts for the last days before the return of Christ.

The United Nations Environment Program reports that plants, animals and entire ecosystems are threatened at much higher rates than ever before in recorded history. At least 4,000 plants and 5,400 animals are threatened with extinction. In addition, species are becoming extinct at a rate 50 to 100 times higher than normal.

Keep your eyes on Turkey - a strategically important nation and one whose prophetic significance is sometimes underrated. Recently Ankara has been cozying up to Iran and Iraq, including the striking of a multibillion-dollar natural gas deal with Iran, defying a threat of US anti terrorist sanctions. Immediately after signing the deal, Turkish officials visited Baghdad seeking to improve relations with Iraq. The Armageddon coalition described in Ezekiel 38 is well into formation.

IBM and a group of 15 U.S. and Canadian banking giants including Bank of America, Banc One and Mellon Bank have entered a joint venture that will greatly expand the world of electronic financial services with a short term goal of replacing all cash and check transactions with electronic transfers in the near future. Citibank has developed an Electronic Money System that will permit consumers to make payments electronically anywhere in the world. The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Jan. 21, 1996: "Soon c
hips will be implanted in our bodies encoded with credit card, passport, driver's license and other personal information."

The United Religions Summit is reconvening to write a charter intended to unify the world's faiths. "We are on the threshold of a new global civilization," explained William Swing, a California Episcopal bishop who has spearheaded the movement. "When people look around, religion has just not been at the table." Working hand in hand with Swing is the UN Assistant Secretary General Robert Muller, who once wrote: "If Christ came back to earth, his first visit would be to the UN to see if his dream of human oneness and brotherhood had come true." Muller, by the way, is associated with the Lucis Trust, a New Age organization that evolved from the Lucis Publishing Company, previously known as the Lucifer Publishing Co. Draw your own conclusions about which master such men serve.

Every year since the signing of the Treaty of Rome in 1957, Europe has become more powerful on the world stage. Beginning with only six member nations, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, it has grown into an economic and political behemoth of 15 nations populated by 360 million with the addition of member states Britain, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Ireland and Austria.

What a Coincidence! - The model for the modern state of Europe was born in 1948 - the same year as the rebirth of Israel. It was codified nine years later by what is known as the Treaty of Rome. It came into being simultaneously with the emergence of the Cold War - "the ultimate "rumor of war".

Europe's own choice for a national symbol is a Woman Riding a Beast - Revelation 17 v.7. If this were the only event predicted by the Bible to take place at the same time as the rebirth of a nation whose history was frozen in time for 2500 years, it would be astonishing. But the Bible makes many other precise predictions. Each connects with the other, like building blocks.

All of these predictions must happen in a single generation all must be identifiable. To make them unique, they must appear on the scene at the same time. They would have to develop at roughly the same speed.

Many prophecy students interpret this to mean that when we see the rise of Israel as a nation (as we did in 1948) we will know that the time of the end is "near", at the doors. They reason that when a fig tree is used symbolically in Scripture, it usually refers to the nation Israel. So when Israel became a nation in 1948, they believe that was the "sign" of Mat 24 v.1-8, the beginning "birth pangs".

It was as if the tree was planted in 1914 -1918 when the first "birth pain" was felt, but did not grow into a full blown tree capable of budding until 1948 when Israel was granted statehood, thus fulfilling (Ezek 37 v. 1-8). Combine this with "So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, at the doors" (Mat 24 v.33) In other words, when all the signs mentioned appear such as war, famines, pestilence, earthquakes and Israel becoming a nation, you know that the return of Jesus is close at hand.

How long is a generation - Psalm 90 v.10 tells us, "The days of our years are three score years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labor and sorrow" Moses here suggests that a generation is seventy to eighty years. This doesn't mean that a generation is limited to seventy or eighty years, he is simply telling us what the general length of a generation.

The average age of a generational life across the world today is 67 years. Add 67 to 1948 and see what you get.

They're not just selling stocks. They're not just selling bonds. They're selling everything … for the first time since the market disaster of 2008.

That's the damning conclusion of research provided by Credit Suisse, as chronicled by Bloomberg. The firm estimates everyday American investors yanked $6.5 billion from stock funds in July, as well as $8.4 billion from bond funds. Then they yanked another $1.6 billion and $8.1 billion, respectively, in early August.

This is NOT ordinary behavior. Typically, investors will sell stocks in times of turmoil and move to bonds for safety. Or they'll sell bonds when inflation and growth is picking up, and shift money to stocks to generate greater profits.

But in 2008, disgust with Wall Street and the capital markets in general grew to such a level that investors dumped everything. Now, in the wake of increasingly turbulent markets from New York to Shanghai and everywhere in between, they're doing it again.

Separate research from Bank of America Merrill Lynch suggests a stunning $19 billion was yanked from equity funds on Tuesday alone That's the most in any single day since late 2007. A collective $29.5 billion flooded out of equity funds over the week, and that's the worst since BAML's data begins, going all the way back to 2002.

All this shows just how panicked investors were by the action this week. BAML's note shows the largest outflows from emerging-market, high-yield, and investment-grade bond funds since the 2013 "taper tantrum," when Ben Bernanke, then the Federal Reserve chair, started talking about winding in the US central bank's quantitative-easing programme. All that means the bank's "bull and bear index" has fallen to its most bearish level since January 2012.

And according to Credit Suisse, August is the first month since the fourth quarter of 2008 (when the financial crisis was in full swing) in which there have been both bond and equity fund outflows, rather than one or the other.

You can look at this data in one of two ways. As a short-term, contrarian timing indicator, you can say the extreme investor panic may mark a temporary low. And sure enough, markets bounced sharply on Wednesday and Thursday.

But as a longer-term indicator, I think these figures are troublesome. They dovetail nicely with the other fundamental and technical signals I've been talking about all summer, the ones that suggest we've entered an entirely new market environment.

Gone are the low/no-volatility, monetary morphine-driven "autopilot markets" we've had for the last 6 1/2years. Now, central bankers are losing the tenuous control they had of investor psychology and economics.

Our problems stem from a combination of lousy regulatory policy, too much debt with too little income to support it, misguided stimulus, and wretched monetary policy. Many of the solutions we've been offered – like almost a decade of zero interest rates and QE – haven't worked to turbocharge the economy, yet we keep getting more of the same from the experts.

The real world and the lackluster global economy seems to be intruding on our fantasyland markets now. That means we're in for much more volatility and tumult over the next couple of years than we've experienced over the last several. The potential for more China outflows is huge and the bottom line is that QE has much more to go. It is hard to become very optimistic on global risk appetite until a solution is found to China's evolving crisis.

As soon as credit expansion stops, the piper must be paid, and the inevitable readjustments must liquidate the unsound over investments of the boom and redirect the economy. And, of course, the longer the boom is kept going, the greater the malinvestments that must be liquidated, and the more harrowing the readjustments that must be made.

The market chaos this week did spook investors despite prices ending up back where they started, on Tuesday, investors dumped stocks at a pace not seen since 2007. For the week as a whole, investors haven't unloaded this much stock since at least 2002.

If you know your history, then you know that it is a common tactic by the establishment elite to string the public along with false hopes so that they do not prepare or take alternative measures while the system crumbles around their ears. At the onset of the Great Depression the same strategies were used.

People have
tied their hopes and dreams to a quarter of a percent rate hike. That's how ridiculous things have become. People are so horrified that if money isn't absolutely free that all hell will break loose—that people are going to go broke, the market's going to crash, and that there won't be any jobs. That's a pretty sad state of affairs, and it  should not be the foundation for a free and prosperous nation. It is the height of central planning folly and it is a form of economic tyranny.

The message for our political elites and economic masters today is much the same as it was in 1776: They ignore the people's contempt at their own risk.

Why Has The Government Stopped Reporting Lake Mead Water Levels?.....MORE LIES AND INCOMPETENCE!

Why Has The Government Stopped Reporting Lake Mead Water Levels?

For months I have been warning that "Vegas is screwed" as water levels continue to plunge in its most crucial reservoirs. Non-government experts are waving red flags that something must be done (and even NASA scientists fear the worst) while the government remains quiet. And then just 3 months ago,Lake Mead water levels mysteriously plunged to levels that were below the emergency level for Vegas water supply.

Now, Lake Mead water levels have not been reported since July 9th - six weeks??!!

As reported in and by the local media:

In the spirit of data obfuscation a la China and Obama, Lake Mead's daily reporting has not been posted for six (6!) weeks.

At last report (July 9) the lake was 0.6 inch above the critical 1075' level that will initiate a new round of water wars in the Southwest, including a possible crimp in the IV drip that sustains Phoenix and Tucson. WE CAN'T HAVE THAT, SO THEY LIE!

As a reminder,

If the water level is below 1,075 feet elevation – 4 feet below today's level – by January 1, 2016, it will trigger a federal water emergency... and water rationing.

So, We have one simple question - why did the government stop reporting Lake Mead Water Levels six weeks ago?  ANY BODY THAT TRUSTS GOVERNMENT AT ANY LEVEL IS A COMPLETE FOOL!

Making Sense Of The Sudden Market Plunge.....DO NOT MISS THIS!

Making Sense Of The Sudden Market Plunge

The global deflationary wave has been picking up steam since last fall
. This is the natural and unavoidable after effect of a global liquidity bubble brought to you courtesy of the world's main central banks.

What goes up based on fiction and lies,  must come down - and that's especially true for the world's many poorly-constructed financial bubbles, built out of nothing more than gauzy narratives and inflated with hopium.

What this means is that the traditional summer lull in financial markets has turned August into an unusually active and interesting month. August, it appears, is the new October. MAKES YOU WONDER WHAT LIES JUST AHEAD.

Markets are quite possibly in crash mode right now, although events are unfolding so quickly – currency spikes, equity sell offs, emerging market routs and dislocations, and commodity declines -  that it's hard to tell for sure.  However, that's usually the case right before and during big market declines.

market outlook has been one of extreme caution for several years. I never bought into so-called "recovery" because much of it was purely statistical in nature, and had to rely on heavily distorted and tortured 'statistics' to be believed.  Okay, lies is probably a more accurate term in many cases.

Further, most of the gains in financial assets engineered by the central banks were false and destined to burst
because they were based on bubble psychology, not actual returns.

Which bubbles you ask?

There are almost too many to track. But here are the main ones:

Corporate bond bubble
Corporate earnings bubble
Junk bond bubble
Sovereign debt bubble
Equity bubbles in various markets (US, China) and sectors (Tech, Biotech, Energy)
Real estate bubbles, especially in the commodity exporting countries
Central bank credibility bubble (perhaps the largest and most dangerous of them all)

What's the one thing that binds all of these bubbles together?  Central bank money printing.

Passing The Baton

Operating in collusion, the world's major central banks passed the liquidity baton back and forth between them, first from the US to Japan, then from Japan to Europe, then back to the US, then over to Europe again where it now resides.  Seemingly endless rounds of QE that didn't always do what they were supposed to do, and plenty of things they were not intended to do.

The purpose of printing up trillions and trillions of dollars (supposedly) was to create economic growth, drive down unemployment, and stoke moderate inflation.  On those fronts, the results have been dismal, horrible, and ineffective, respectively.

However, the results weren't all dismal. Big banks reaped windfall profits while heaping record bonuses on themselves for being at the front of the Fed's feeding trough. The ├╝ber-wealthy enjoyed the largest increase in wealth gains in recorded history, and governments were able to borrow more and more money at cheaper and cheaper rates allowing them to deficit spend at extreme levels.

But all of that partying at the top is going to have huge costs for 'the little people' when the bill comes due.  And it always comes due.  Money printing is fake wealth; it causes bubbles, and when bubbles burst there's only one question that has to be answered: Who's going to eat the losses?

The poor populace of Greece is just now discovering that it collectively is responsible for paying for the mistakes of a small number of French and German banks, aided by the collusion of Goldman Sachs, in hiding the true state of Greek debt-to-GDP using sophisticated off-balance sheet derivative shenanigans. As a direct result, the people of Greece are in the process of losing their airports, ports, and electrical distribution and phone networks to 'private investors' -- mainly foreigners harvesting the last cash-generating assets the Greeks have left to their names.

Broken Markets

As I've detailed repeatedly, our "markets" no longer resemble markets.  They are so distorted, both by central bank policy and technologically-driven cheating, that they no longer really qualify as legitimate markets.

Where normal markets are a place for legitimate price discovery, todays ""markets"" are a place where computers battle each other over scraps in the blink of an eye, 'investors' hinge their decisions based on what the Fed might or might not do next, and rationalizations are trotted out by the media for why inexplicable market price movements make sense.

Instead, we view the ""markets"" as increasingly the playgrounds of, by and for the gigantic market-controlling firms whose technology and market information have created one of the most lopsided playing fields in our lifetimes.

Signs of these distortions abound. One completely odd chart is this one, showing that the average trading range of the Dow (ytd) was the lowest in history as of last week (before this week's market turmoil hit).  And that was despite Greece, China, QE, Japan, oil's slump, Ukraine, Syria, Iran and all of the other ample market-disturbing news:

Based on the above chart, you'd think that 2015 up through mid-August was the most serene year of the last 120 years. Of course, it's been anything but serene.

The explanation for this locked-in trading range is a combination of ultra-low trading volume and the rise of the machines.  There have been times recently when practically 100% of market volume was just machines playing against each other…no actual investors (i.e, humans) were involved.

As long as there was ample liquidity, then the machines were content to just play ping pong with the ""market"". Which they did, crossing the S&P 500 over the 2,100 line 13 times before the recent sell-off took hold.

But that's not the most concerning part about having broken markets. The most concerning thing centers on the fact that things that should never, ever happen in true markets are happening in todays ""markets"" all the time.

One measure of this is how many standard deviations (std dev) an event is away from the mean. For example, if the price of a financial asset moves an average of 1% per year, with a std dev of 0.25 %, then it would be slightly unusual for it to 2%, or 3%.  However it would be highly unusual if it moved as much as 6% or 7%.

Statistics tells us that something that 3 std dev movements are very unlikely, having only a 0.1% chance of happening.  By the time we get to 6 std devs, the chance is so small that what we're measuring should only happen about once every 1.3 billion years. At 7 std dev, the chance jumps up to once every 3 billion years.

Why take it to such a ridiculous level? Because those sorts of events are happening all the time in our ""markets"" now. And that should be deeply concerning to everyone, as it was to Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan:

'Once-in-3-Billion-Year' Jump in Bonds Was a Warning Shot, Dimon Says

Apr 8, 2015, JPMorgan Chase & Co. head Jamie Dimon said last year's volatility in U.S. Treasuries is a "warning shot" to investors and that the next financial crisis could be exacerbated by a shortage of the securities.

The Oct. 15 gyration, when Treasury yields fluctuated by almost 0.4 percentage point, wasan "unprecedented move" that would have serious consequences in a stressed environment, Dimon, the New York-based bank's chairman and chief executive officer, said in a letter Wednesday to shareholders. Treasuries are supposed to be among the most stable securities.

Dimon, 59, cited the incident as he waded into a debate about whether bank regulations implemented after the 2008 financial crisis exacerbate price declines by limiting the ability of Wall Street banks to make markets. It's just a matter of time until some political, economic or market event triggers another financial crisis, he said, without predicting one is imminent.

The Treasuries move was "an event that is supposed to happen only once in every 3 billion years or so," Dimon wrote. A future crisis could be worsened because there "is a greatly reduced supply of Treasuries to go around."

While Mr. Dimon used the event to suggest that bank regulations were somehow to blame, that explanation is self-serving and disingenuous.  He'd use any excuse to try and blame bank regulations; that's his job, I guess.

Instead what happened was that our ""market"" structure is so distorted by computer trading algorithms, with volume so heavily distorted by their lighting-fast reflexes, that one of those 'once in 3-billion years events' resulted.

This simply wouldn't have happened if humans were still the ones doing the trading, but they aren't. All the colored jackets have been hung up at the CME, and human market makers on the floor of the NYSE are rapidly slipping away into the sunset as algorithms now run the show.

The good news about computers is that they allow our trading to be faster and cheaper, presumably with better price discovery.  The bad news is that nobody really understands how the whole connected universe of them interact and that, from time to time, they go nuts.

As Mr. Dimon hinted, they have the chance of taking the next financial downturn and converting it into a certified financial meltdown.

How common are these 'billion year events'?

They happen all the time now.

Here's a short list:

All of this leads us to conclude that the chance of a very serious, market-busting accident is not only possible, but that the probability approaches 100% over even relatively short time horizons.

The deflation we've been warning about is now at the door. And one of our big concerns is that we've got ""markets"" instead of markets, which means that something could break our financial system as we know and love it.

From the Outside In

One of our main operating models is that when trouble starts it always begins at the edges and moves from the outside in.

This is true whether you are looking at people in a society (food banks see a spike in demand well before expensive houses decline in price), stocks in a sector (the weakest companies decline first), bonds (junk debt yields spike first), or across the globe where weaker countries get in trouble first.

What we're seeing today is an especially fast moving set of 'outside in' indicators that are cropping up so fast it's difficult to keep track of them all.

Here are the biggest ones.

Currency Declines

The recent declines in emerging market (EM) currencies is a huge red flag.  This combined chart of EM foreign exchange shows the escalating declines of late.

Since last Monday, here's the ugly truth:

Many of these countries have been using precious foreign reserves to try and stem the rapid declines of their currencies, but I fear they will all run out of ammo before the carnage is over.

What's happening here is the reverse part of the liquidity flood that the western central banks unleashed.  The virtuous part of this cycle sees investors borrow money cheaply in Europe, the US or Japan, and then park in in EM countries, usually by buying sovereign bonds, or investing in local companies (especially those making a bundle off of the commodity boom that was happening).

So on the virtuous side, a major currency was borrowed, and then used to buy whatever local EM currency was involved (which drove up the value of that currency), and then local assets were bought which either drove up the stock market or drove down bond yields (which move as in inverse to price).

The virtuous part of the cycle is loved by local businesses and politicians.  Everything works great.  The currency is stable to rising, bond yields are falling, stocks are rising, and everyone is generally happy.

However when the worm turns, and it always does, the back side of this cycle, the vicious part, really hurts and that's what we're now seeing.

The investors decide that enough is enough, and so they sell the local bonds and equities they bought, driving both down in price (so falling stock markets and rising yields), and then sell the local currency in exchange for dollars or yen or euros, whichever were borrowed in the first place.

And thus we see falling EM currencies.

To put this in context, many of the above listed currencies are now trading at levels either not seen since the Asian currency crisis of 1997, or at levels never before seen at all.  The poor Mexican peso is one of the involved currencies, which has fallen by 12% just this year, and almost made it to 17 to the dollar early this morning (16.9950).  Battering the peso is also the low price of oil which is absolutely on track to destroy the Mexican federal budget next year.

Stock Market Declines

In concert with the currency unwinds we are seeing deep distress in the peripheral stock markets.  There are now more than 20 that are in 'bear country' meaning they've suffered declines of 20% or more from their peaks.

Here are a few select ones, with Brazil being in the worst shape:

All of these signs reinforce the idea that the great central back liquidity tsunami has reversed course and is about to create a lot of damage and suck a lot of debris out to sea.

The Commodity Rout

A lot of EM countries are commodity exporters.  They sell their minerals trees and rocks to the rest of the world, by which we mean to China first and foremost.

Commodities are not just doing badly in terms of price, they are absolutely being crushed, now down some 50% over the past four years.

Commodities tells a number of things besides the extent of EM economic happiness or pain – they tells us whether the world economy is growing or shrinking.  Right now they are saying "shrinking" which is confirmed by all of the recent Chinese import, export and manufacturing data, along with the dismal results coming out of Japan (in recession), Europe and the US.

As we've been warning for a long time, you cannot print your way to prosperity, you can only delay the inevitable by trading time for elevation.

Now, instead of finding ourselves saddled with $155 trillion of global debt as we did in 2008, we're entering this next crisis with $200 trillion on the books and interest rates already stuck at zero.  We are 30 feet up the ladder instead of 10 and it's a long way down.

What tools do the central banks really have left to fight the forces of deflation which are now romping across the financial landscape from the outside in?

If the computers hiccup and give us some institution smashing or market busting 8 sigma move what will the authorities do?  Shut down the markets?  It's a possibility, and one for which you should be prepared.

Where are we headed with all this?

The eventual outcome to all this is captured brilliantly in this quote by Ludwig Von Mises, the Austrian economist:

There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved.

The credit expansion happened between 1980 and 2008, there was a warning shot which was soundly ignored by ignorant central bankers, and now we have more, not less, debt with which to contend.

The Nature of the Lord's Return....

The Nature of the Lord's Return

Is the Lord Returning in Love or Wrath?

When you think of the coming of the Lord, what do you think of? What is your image? Is it positive or negative? Is it a return in love or in wrath? And what do you feel? Fear or joy? Comfort or anxiety?

How would you characterize your overall attitude about the Lord's return? Desire or apathy? Do you pray for it? Or, do you try not to think about it? Are you enthusiastic or passive?

Finally, how would you describe the Lord's coming? How would you explain it to someone who knows nothing about it?

The Scriptural Images

There are two detailed descriptions of the Lord's return in the New Testament, one written by the Apostle Paul and the other by the Apostle John. These descriptions are reproduced below
, side by side. Stop for a moment and read them carefully.

Now, let me ask you some more questions. How can these two descriptions be reconciled? I ask that because they are as different as night and day. Did you notice that?

Look again and make a careful comparison. Notice that they have absolutely nothing in common. In fact, they are totally incompatible.

Comparison and Contrast

The passage in 1 Thessalonians 4 presents a scene of love, mercy, and grace. The picture that is painted by Revelation 19 is one of vengeance and wrath. In the Thessalonian passage, the Lord appears in the sky, but does not descend to the earth. In the Revelation account, he come to the earth. Zechariah 14 says He will return to the Mount of Olives from which He ascended into Heaven.

One of the most significant differences between the two passages relates to the Church.

In the Thessalonian account, the Lord comes for the purpose of taking His Church, both the dead and living members, out of this world.

In Revelation, by stark contrast, He returns with His Church. This is indicated in Revelation 19:14 where it says that "the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean were following Him on white horses." We know these people constitute the Church, because the same group is described a few verses before (verses 7 and 8) as being the "bride" of Christ.

Thus, in Paul's description of the Lord's return, He is portrayed as coming for His Church, to deliver believers from the "wrath that is to come" (1 Thessalonians 1:10). But in John's description, Jesus is portrayed as returning with His Church in great wrath. In Thessalonians Jesus returns as a Deliverer. In Revelation He comes back as a Warrior. In one scene He is coming to claim the righteous; in the other, He returns to condemn the unrighteous.

A Problem in Reconciliation

There is only one way to reconcile these two events intelligently
and that is to conclude that they are describing two separate events. That, in turn, implies rather clearly that there are going to be two future comings of the Lord.

One of those - the one described in 1 Thessalonians 4 - will be more of an appearing than a coming, for the Lord will not actually return to the earth. He will, instead, appear in the heavens and supernaturally draw the Church, living and dead, to Him. THE RAPTURE!

The second future appearance of the Lord - the one described in Revelation 19 - will be the true "Second Coming," for the Lord will actually descend to the earth to pour out the wrath of God and establish His reign over all the world.

This means the "Second Coming" of the Lord is going to be in two stages. The first stage will be what has come to be known as the Rapture - the snatching of the Church out of the world. The second stage, which will occur 7 years later

The Issue of Imminence

This method of reconciling these passages solves a serious problem that emerges when you think of only one future coming of the Lord. That problem relates to the emphasis that the Scriptures give to imminence.

What I am referring to, of course, is the constant warning of the Scriptures that the Lord may appear any moment and, therefore, we are to always be ready for the Lord's return (Matthew 24:36, 42, 44, 50 and 25:13).

If there is only one future coming of the Lord, then these warnings are a waste of time and there is no imminence because there are many prophecies that are yet to be fulfilled before the Lord can return.

For example:

A peace treaty must be signed that will guarantee Israel's peace with all of its Arab neighbors (Daniel 9:27).

The Jewish Temple must be rebuilt in Jerusalem (Matthew 24:15, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4, and Revelation 11:1-2).

The Great Tribulation must begin and run its seven year course, resulting in the death of over half the world's population (Revelation 6-18).

The Antichrist must reveal himself and begin an unprecedented persecution of the Jews - one that will result in the death of two-thirds of all the Jews (Revelation 12:13-17 &Zechariah 13:7-9).

The Gospel must be preached to every person on the earth (Matthew 24:14 and Revelation 14:6-7).

An unprecedented system of economic control must be established that will prevent persons from buying or selling anything unless they can display on their right hands or foreheads the mark or name of the Antichrist.

The worldwide kingdom of the Antichrist must be destroyed in "one hour of one day" (Revelation 17 & 18).

These are all events that are clearly prophesied in Scripture as occurring before Jesus returns to earth. None of them has yet been fulfilled in history. If there is only one future coming of the Lord, and it must take place after these events, then why should we be looking for Jesus Christ? We should be looking instead for all of the
prophesied events mentioned above.

Living with Expectancy

The only way that the imminence taught by the Scriptures can be maintained is to believe that Jesus can return any moment. The only way to maintain that belief is to conclude that the Lord's appearing for His Church (the Rapture) is an event that is separate and apart from the Second Coming and is an event that can occur any moment prior to the tribulation. Once the rapture occurs we know for certain that the Lord's seconding coming occurs in seven years. Is the Bible wrong?

We should all live looking for the Rapture to occur any moment. This is exactly what Paul commands us to do when he writes that we are to live "looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus" (Titus 2:13).

Therefore there is one prophecy in the Bible that must be fulfilled before the Lord appears for His Church. He can appear any moment. And the imminence of His appearing increases daily as the signs of the time point to the events that will culminate with His Second Coming. Those signs include, among others, the re-establishment of the state of Israel, the Jewish reoccupation of the city of Jerusalem, the reunification of Europe, and the rise of Arab militancy in the Middle East.

Keep in mind that the Rapture is not the event that will kick-off the Tribulation. That event is the signing of a peace treaty that will guarantee the peace of Israel with all its Arab neighbors and will also authorize the Jews to rebuild their Temple (Daniel 9:27). The Rapture  most likely will
occur near the beginning because the Tribulation is the time for the pouring out of God's wrath, and 1 Thessalonians 1:10 says that Jesus will "deliver" His Church "from the wrath to come."

Hope or Terror?

To summarize, we should be looking for two future comings of the Lord - one at the beginning of the Tribulation, the other at the end. The first, the Rapture, will be the appearing of the Lord for His Church. The second, the Second Coming, will be the return of the Lord to the earth to "judge and wage war" against the enemies of God (Revelation 19:11).

The signs of the times point to the fact that Jesus is at the very gates of Heaven, waiting for His Father's command to appear for His Church. The Rapture is imminent.

Are you ready? Are you warning others?

Will Jesus appear (the Rapture) as your Blessed Hope? Or, will He return (the Second Coming) as your Holy Terror? The choice is yours.

The End of the Age........

The End of the Age

Rev 1:3 (RSV) Blessed is he who reads aloud the words of the prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written therein; for the time is near.

Meditate on the Scriptures concerning the rapture and day of the Lord for the purpose of preparing ourselves--preparing our hearts and minds--to meet the Lord Jesus when he returns.

Ready Or Not...

Are we looking to the skies, longing for the return of Jesus with power? Is the cry of our hearts: "Come, Lord Jesus!" or is it "Let's wrestle some more," or "Just let me indulge my flesh a little longer, then I'll repent."

Will the events of the end of the age strike us with hope and joy, or dread?

We start with the words of Christ in the Olivette discourse. Notice how Jesus focuses on how we should respond. The things He "tells us in advance" are meant to produce the proper response in us, the purpose for which the Word was spoken. Things like repentance, holiness, and faith; NOT speculation, obsession, division over the specific details of the prophecy. In the same Spirit, Joel, Paul, John, and Peter encourage us to prepare ourselves for the end of the age. If you are a sincere Christian you will study to show yourself approved as the Bible instructs.

The Olivette Discourse: Interwoven From Matthew, Mark, and Luke

Mat 24:3-9  As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?" Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me."

Mat 24:10-14  "At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase in wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."

Mark 13:11  " not worry beforehand about what you are going to say--simply say the words you are given when the time comes. For it is not really you who will speak, but the Holy Spirit."

Luke 21:12-16  "...handing you over to synagogue or prison, or bringing you before kings and governors, for my name's sake. This will be your chance to witness for me. So make up your minds not to think out your defense beforehand. I will give you such eloquence and wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to resist or contradict it. But you will be betrayed, even by parents and brothers and kinsfolk and friends..."

Luke 21:20  "When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, you will know that it's desolation is near."

Mat 24:21-25  "For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now--and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive the elect--if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time."
Mark 13:23  "So be on your guard, I have told you everything ahead of time." WAS JESUS LYING? HE SAID EVERYTHING!

Mat 24:26-27  "So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man."

Isa 34:4  All the stars of the heavens will be dissolved and the sky rolled up like a scroll; all the starry host will fall like withered leaves from the vine, like shriveled figs from the fig tree.

Mat 24:29-31  "Immediately after the distress of those days, 'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.' At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather the elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other."

Luke 21:25-28  "There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

Mat 24:32-35  "Now learn a lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away." JESUS SAID KNOW, BE SURE, HAVE NO DOUBT! WE ARE THE LAST GENERATION!

Mat 24:36-42 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. Therefore, keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come."

Mat 24:43-44  "But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."

Mat 24:45-51  "Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, 'My master is staying away for a long time,' and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth."

Luke 21:34-36  "Be on your guard--see to it that your minds are never clouded by dissipation or drunkenness or the worries of this life, or else that day may catch you like the springing of a trap--for it will come upon every inhabitant of the whole earth. You must be vigilant at all times, praying that you may be strong enough to come safely through all that is going to happen, and
stand in the presence of the Son of Man."

Joel, Paul on The Nature of The End

Joel 2:28-32  "...I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days. I will show signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved... " DURING THE TRIBULATION.

1 Thes 4:16-18  One word of command, one shout from the archangel, one blast from the trumpet of God and the Lord himself will come down from Heaven! Those who have died in Christ will be the first to rise, and then we who are still living will be swept up with them into the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And after that we shall be with him for ever and ever. So by all means use this message to encourage one another. THE RAPTURE.

1 Thes 5:1-6 But as far as times and seasons go, my brothers, you don't need written instructions. You are well aware that the day of the Lord will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. When men are saying "Peace and Security", catastrophe will sweep down upon them as suddenly and inescapably as birth-pangs to a pregnant woman. But because you, my brothers, are
not living in darkness the day cannot take you by surprise, like a burglar! You are all sons of light, sons of the day, and none of us belongs to darkness of the night. Let us then never fall asleep, like the rest of the world: let us keep awake, with our wits about us. SINCERE CHRISTIANS WON'T BE TAKEN BY SURPRISE.

2 Thes 2:1-4 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He opposes and exalts himself above everything that is called God or is worshipped, and even sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

2 Thes 2:5,9-12,15 Don't you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness... So then brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

1 Cor 1:7-9 And you have been eager to receive his gifts during this time of waiting for his final appearance. He will keep you steadfast in the faith to the end, so that when his day comes you need fear no condemnation. God is utterly dependable, and it is he who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Heb 10:25  And let us not hold aloof from our church meetings, as some do. Let us do all we can to help one another's faith, and this the more earnestly as we see the final day drawing nearer.

Body Building

1 Pet 4:7-11  The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear-minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever spiritual gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Christ Jesus. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

1 Jn 2:28-3:3 Yes, now, little children remember to live continually in him. So that if he were to reveal himself we should have confidence, and not have to shrink away from his presence in shame. You all know that God is really good. You may be just as sure that the man who leads a really good life is a true child of God. Consider the incredible love that the Father has shown us in allowing us to be called "children of God"--and that is not just what we are called, but what we ARE. This explains why the world will no more recognize us than it will recognize Christ. Here and now, my dear friends, we are God's children. We don't know what we shall become in the future. We only know that when he appears we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is! Everyone who has at heart a hope like that keeps himself pure, as Christ is pure.

1 Cor 15:50-52 Listen, and I will tell you a secret. We shall not all die, but suddenly, in the twinkling of an eye, every one of us will be changed as the last trumpet sounds! For the trumpet will sound and the dead shall be raised beyond the reach of corruption, and we shall be changed.  THE RAPTURE!

Rev 11:15,18 The seventh angel blew his trumpet... Now is the time for destroying the destroyers of the earth!"

Phil 1:6,8-10  I am confident of this: that the One who has begun his good work in you will go on developing it until the day of Jesus Christ... God knows how much I long, with the deep love and affection of Christ Jesus, for your companionship. My prayer for you is that you may have still more love--a love that is full of knowledge and every wise insight. I want you to be able always to recognize the highest and best, and to live sincere and blameless lives until the day of Christ.

2 Pet 3:1-7 I have tried to stimulate you, as men with minds uncontaminated by error, by reminding you of what you really know already. This means recalling the words spoken of old by the holy prophets as well as the commands of our Lord and savior given to you through his messengers. First of all you must realize that in the last days cynical mockers will undoubtedly come--men whose only guide in life is what they want for themselves--and they will say, "Where is his promised coming? Since our fathers fell asleep, everything remains exactly as it was since the beginning of creation!" They are deliberately shutting their eyes to the fact that there were heavens in the old days and an earth formed by God's command out of water and by water. It was by water that the world of those days was deluged and destroyed, but the present heavens and earth are, also by God's command, being carefully kept and maintained for the fire of the day of judgment and the destruction of wicked men.

2 Pet 3:7-9  But you should never lose sight of the fact, dear friends, that with the Lord a day may be a thousand years, and a thousand years only a day. It is not that he is slow about keeping his own promise as some men seem to think; the fact is that he is very patient with you. He has no wish that any man be destroyed; He wishes that all men should find the way to repentance. Yet the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. In that day the heavens will vanish in a tearing blast, the very elements will disintegrate in heat and the earth and all its works will disappear.

2 Pet 3:10-14  In view of the fact that all these things are to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be? Surely men of good and holy character, who live expecting and working for the coming of the day of God. This day will mean that the heavens will disintegrate in fire and the burning elements will melt, but our hopes are set on new heavens and a new earth which he has promised us, in which justice will make its home. Because, my dear friends, you have a hope like this before you, I urge you to make certain that the day will find you at peace with God, flawless and blameless in his sight.

Rev 22:12-16,20  "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the Bright Morning Star." ..."He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen, Come, Lord Jesus.

Now, today, this moment, is our chance to choose the right side. God is holding back to give us that chance. It will not last forever. We must take it or leave it. He is coming very soon!

Going Home...... SOON AND VERY SOON!

The Bible says we are strangers in a foreign land. This world is not our home; our citizenship is in heaven.

Going Home

We're going home, in a little while from now,
We're going home, when the field behind the plow
Is ready for the reaper, to harvest all the grain
And gather up the tares, until only wheat remains

We're going home, soon the trumpet call will sound
And we will rise, to meet the LORD together
We will hear the voice of heaven, descending on the clouds
And with a mighty shout He'll call our names out loud

Wake up all you people from the nations far and wide
On that resurrection morning when the graves are opened wide
There'll be glory in the kingdom that transfigures you and me
When Jesus Christ the Savior, sets us free, we're going home

We're going home, where the streets are paved with gold
We're going home, where we will live and not grow old
We will drink the living waters from the streams of paradise
And we will eat the fruit of heaven from the healing tree of life

We're going home, where life eternal reigns
We're going home, where the blind will see again
And where all of GOD's creation will live in harmony
When the law of GOD is written in our hearts, we will be free

So wake up all you people from the nations far and wide
On that resurrection morning when the Bridegroom takes His bride
There'll be glory in the kingdom that transcends this earthly plane
When Jesus Christ the Lamb returns again, we're going home

We're going home to a far and distant shore
We're going home, where we will reign for evermore
And we will dwell in mansions built by Holy hands
In the city of our GOD, the new Jerusalem

We're going home, where the brightness of the Son will keep us warm
When the day of judgement comes
The darkness of this wicked world will vanish in the light
When the righteousness of day, overcomes the sinful night

So wake up all you people from the nations far and wide
On that resurrection morning when the graves are opened wide
There'll be glory in the kingdom that transfigures you and me
When Jesus Christ the Savior sets us free

Wake up all you people from the nations far and wide
On that resurrection morning when the bridegroom takes His bride
There'll be glory in the kingdom that transcends this earthly plane
When Jesus Christ the Lamb returns again
When the holy Lamb of GOD returns again, we're going home

People, Get Ready Jesus Christ is Coming Soon

Lord, I'm ready now
I'm waiting for Your triumphant return (Revelation 1:7)
You're coming so soon (Matthew 24:32-34)
This world has nothing for me
I find my peace and joy solely in You
Only in You (John 14:27)
I want the world to see that
You're alive and living well in me (Ephesians 1:13-14)
Let me be a part of the harvest
For the days are few (Revelation 14:15)
You're coming soon

People, get ready Jesus is coming
Soon we'll be going home
People, get ready Jesus is coming
To take from the world His own
People, get ready Jesus is coming
Soon we'll be going home
People, get ready Jesus is coming
To take from the world His own
We'll be going home

There will be a day
When we will be divided right and left (Matthew 25:32-33)
For those who know Him
And those who do not know
Those who know Him well
Will meet Him in the air (1 Thes 4:16-17)
Hallelujah! (2 Timothy 4:8; Titus 2:13)
God is with us
Those who do not know
They will hear "Depart, I knew you not" (Matthew 25:41)
For, my friends, you see
There will be a day when we'll be counted
So know Him well, know Him well
(1 John 3:5-6)

People, get ready Jesus is coming
Soon we'll be going home
People, get ready Jesus is coming
To take from the world His own
People, get ready Jesus is coming
Soon well be going home
People, get ready Jesus is coming
To take from the world His own

Will You Be Homeward Bound?: Jesus Christ Is Coming Soon!

Will You Be Ready?

"Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be   able to escape all that is about to happen..."

Luke 21:36

Jesus spoke those words after He warned us of many of the events that will happen in the end times. They are especially relevant to us today when we consider current headlines are now fulfilling Bible prophecy at an absolutely amazing rate — which is setting the stage for the final events of this age.

The last two verses of the Bible,  Revelation 22:20-21:

He who testifies to these things (Jesus) says, "Yes, I am coming soon."
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen.
