Mans Appointed Time On Earth.......

Mans Appointed Time On Earth

And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Genesis 6:3

This verse is troubling, but also very instructive and full of insight.

Man rarely lives beyond 100. His average lifespan is in the area of 75. Not just today, with our modern medicine but also 3000 years ago and that is why we have an apparent discrepancy.

The only other biblical passage dealing with the Lifespan of humans on earth is Psalm 90:10

The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Man's lifespan is 70-80 years according to the psalms!

Then what on earth is Genesis 6:3 talking about……?

Be certain that there is a gem within these words that most biblical scholars have missed over the last 2000 years.

This verse, in fact the Bible itself is referring to the age of man, an "epoch" or a world age. This verse in Genesis is Prophetic!

It Confirms  God's 6,000 years as our allotted time on this earth, proven within the pages of scripture.

It seems that "Man's Days"  is certainly God's term for a general time period for our human epoch.

For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

                                                                                                                                                  Psalm 90:4

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

                2 Peter 3:8

This makes it clear that 1,000 years are as one day to God –  and a day is as a thousand years. As the creation model of 6 days and a day of rest implies 6000 years of human history and then 1000 years of rest in the millennial reign of Christ.

Surely, this implies 6000 years of alloted Human history!

This same 120 years when combined with the Jewish Jubilee gives us some other interesting observations.

God established a "Jubilee Year" for Israel in Leviticus 25:8-13.  A Jubilee period consists of 50 year time spans.

8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.

9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.

10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

11 A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.

12 For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.

13 In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.

Leviticus 25:8-13

The Rapture will set the church free from this evil age and rescue us according to God's plan. Rescue us just as God rescued Noah, Lot, Enoch and others. Rescue is far different than escape and God alone in his sovereignty decides how this works, his plan is clear in the Bible. Notice the abundant use of trumpets in the passage above, this points to the trumpet blown as the Rapture takes place.

If we multiply this 120 'years'  by the Jubilee years of Israel of 50 years  [50 X 120] we arrive at Goddtype's  6,000 years of "known" time which consists of 4,000 years of SP(spirit/Jewish age) which is followed by a 2,000 year period of NF(Jesus/Christian age) A total of of 6,000 years which is to be followed by a 1000 year millenium (Trinity/timeless age)   6 days + 1 day of rest!

Based on this, the last jubilee of Genesis 6:3 will be the 120th jubilee and Christ's return to reign. Christ is coming to reign In a jubilee year, to fulfill the Jubilee law of Leviticus 25.

2015-16 is a jubilee year! The 120th jubilee year! Jubilee is designed to set God's people free and restore a God ordained order. The Rapture and the end times are designed to do exactly that. It will involve great pain for those that have ignored Almighty God!

The bible offers prolific support of this.

In Hosea 6:1-2 it says… "Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces but He will heal us; He has injured us but He will bind up our wounds. After two days He will revive us; on the third day He will restore us."

This is clear evidence for our present 2,000 year church age which began at Christs resurrection.

The Bible clearly shows this 6,000 year period which is the entire age of man on earth.

This information within the scriptures is a clue to something hidden in plain sight – it is a reference to his second coming after 6,000 years of Jewish/Christian history.

Jesus gives another clue which clearly uses days as symbolic with 1000 year periods. 6 days after his resurrection   He tells his disciples that   His 'perfection'  will be  'in the third day.' Luke 13:32.   Does this not also imply just as Hosea does that his millennial reign (1000 years) will begin after  2,000 years?

We are all privileged to be living 2000 years after our Lord's resurrection which marked the beginning of 2000 years of the Christian church age that has run its appointed time and is surely near its completion.

We are commanded by Jesus Christ in Mark 13:35-37

"Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning—lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!"

Jesus also said:

When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather today: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

                            Matthew 16: 2-3

He also warned:

"when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near" (Luke 21:31). Then He warns about not letting "that Day come on you unexpectedly" (Luke 21:34).

God said,"Surely the sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing it to His servants the prophets"

                                                                                                                                                              Amos 3:7

God said "nothing," and He did not exclude Christ's return. I take Him at His word.

Jesus said the Holy Spirit "will teach you all things"

                                                                                   John 14:26.

He said "all things." Did Jesus make a mistake, forgetting to exclude when He will return? I don't think so!

Paul tells believers, "You are not in darkness, brethren, for that day to surprise you like a thief". In other words, if we are trusting in Christ and looking for His coming, even the very day does not have to surprise us.

"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ"

                                                                                                                                                                  Titus 2:13
